What file format are your ebooks?
Liturgical Press offers our eBooks as EPUB, MOBI/PRC, and PDF files.

What software do I need to read an eBook?
To read MOBI/PRC files, you can download the latest version of Kindle for PC here, or Kindle for MAC here.
To read EPUB files, you can download the latest version of the free Adobe Digital Editions here.
To read PDF files, you can download the latest version of the free Adobe Acrobat Reader here.

Is any special hardware needed to read an eBook?
No special equipment is required. Almost any computer with an Internet connection can be used.

Are all books available in eBook format?
No. A majority of new books are published as eBooks. Many older books will not be converted to eBooks.

Ordering eBooks

How do I order an eBook?
EBooks are listed on the Liturgical Press website in the same manner as print books. Look for the description (Hardcover, Paperback, eBook, etc.), or view all eBooks here. To order an ebook, simply add it to your shopping cart, the same as you would a print book. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact Liturgical Press Technical Support by email at techsupport@litpress.org, or by phone from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. CT, Monday - Friday at (800) 858-5450 or (320) 363-2646.

Note: eBooks and downloadable sheet music may only be ordered online.

Can I order over the phone or with a purchase order?
No. In order to purchase eBooks, you must order online and pay with a valid credit card. We cannot take orders over the phone, fax, or via the mail or email. Other methods of payment (check or purchase order) will not be accepted.

Will I be taxed on my eBook purchase?
Yes. If you are a resident of Minnesota, you will be taxed on your eBook purchase.

Downloading Purchased eBooks

If I purchase an eBook, when do I have access to the files?
Immediately. Once you complete your order, you will be provided, as well as emailed, a digital key to download your eBook.

How do I download a purchased eBook?
Once you click through the digital key provided, you will see the option to download the eBook you have purchased. Click on the appropriate link to download the file, then save it to your computer.

How long do I have access to the eBooks that I purchase?
You will have access to download your eBooks for 250 days after purchase. After that time period, you will no longer have access to your files on the Liturgical Press website. However, once you download the files, you may keep them for your personal use as long as you wish.

What if I change computers/devices?
You may download your purchased files as long as it is within the download window from the date you purchased the eBook. If you need to move the eBook to another computer or device after the download period, you may transfer it by any means available to you.

Do your eBooks contain Digital Rights Management (DRM)?
No. Liturgical Press has decided not to include DRM on the eBooks available through the website. Click here to see our statement regarding DRM.

Unless the copyright statement within the eBook specifies otherwise, all of the content is copyrighted by Liturgical Press.
