Baptism is not just an event that happened in the past-but the identity we are immersed in as followers of Jesus. This volume helps us reflect on this identity in the midst of our contemporary church and world. Explore three New Testament passages to contemplate what it means to be alive in God's love, alive in Christian community, and alive in Christ's death and resurrection.

Justin Huyck is pastoral associate and director of adult faith formation at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Canton, Ohio. Previously, he served communities in Albany, New York; Northbrook, Illinois; and Kingston, Ontario. Justin is a graduate of Cornell University and holds an MA in theology from the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. He and his wife are the parents of two children. Justin is the author of From Home to Home, Finding Meaning in Mobility from the Alive in the Word series.
